It's a long haul but I'm getting there.

First thing to do when laying out squares is shut the lattice door.
As you can see, Willow isn't impressed and doesn't give up rattling and climbing trying to get in.

This is all that is left to lay out now.

 All papers have been removed

Small block being sewn together.

This gives some idea of what it will look like when finished.
I have the wadding and am just about to look for a backing.

  2. I was just saying to Chris that a cat free dining room might be nice. I'm afraid that the cats would gang up and force entry anyway...probably using a table leg as a battering ram.

  5. What a beautiful quilt. I can see why you had to shut that door. You surely would have had a couple helping paws in there if you hadn't....lol

  6. That's very pretty. Just give up on keeping cats out of rooms. They have nothing else to do but drive you crazy. =^..^=

  9. Wow! That is beautiful and such a lot of work, I am in awe of you lovely ladies who make quilts... I am about to attempt one, but am doing a crazy patchwork one like I made back in the 80's as I am rubbish at sewing the bits together in straight lines! It's a total cheat of a quilt, not really worthy of the name!
