ONE ABOVE SEES ALL

If there's one way of getting their attention its jumping onto the top of the door.

Just look at them down there, too lazy to move and get my evening meal.

It's not just me whose starving, the others are too.

Ah, looks like Rowan fancies having a go at coming up

Yup, thought she would, a bit late though, we're all in the kitchen now

  3. How do they do that.....balance on two inches of wood. The cat who lives next door to us balances on the top of the fence and watches the world go by

  5. Your cats are hilarious. I've never seen a cat jump on the top of a door like that. :) Best wishes, Tammy

  6. that is one trick our three haven't tried. meal time attention-seeking usually starts about 2 hours ahead of the usual time for the meal, and they'll do anything they think will annoy us!

  7. what a joy it must e to be surrounded by your beautiful cats. I use to have one that slept on top of the door many years ago, we always had to check she was not up there if we want e to shut it.

  8. I bet if you put a 10p coin down they could balance on that as well. Your cat actually looks quite comfortable up there. It is amazing how once one cat does something the others cotton on and do the same thing!

  9. Hi Briony, yes, the kitties in the photo are feral. Their mama had them, kept them hidden for several months and when she brought them out, there were 7. Yikes! Cutest little things, they know I feed them and wait for me in the morning at the bottom of the stairs, but I can't get near them. Sadly, the mom is pregnant again. Ugh! She's another one I can't catch. I don't know what to do but I can't let them starve. The weather is good for them now but when the heat sets in, it won't be bearable. Hope you are having a good week. Tammy
