FOX WATCHING

One looking through the hatch
(sorry about the quality of the pics, they were taken in the dark kitchen)

3 Looking out of the window
Plus Tom and myself, all watching the fox.

Our old one with the limp is no longer with us, I don't know what happened to him but I think he was old.
He's been replaced with one we call 'Bambi'.
As you can see, she has a really beautiful face, quite unlike most foxes with lovely soft eyes and large ears.

Around 10 o'clock she has 7 pairs of eyes watching her feed. lol
We never tire of watching her and the cats know the time and line up to watch with us.

  1. I think foxes are so beautiful! So what draws her to your place? Even though it was dark, I am glad you were able to show us.

  2. Just wondering why you would have fox in your yard? Are you in the country or do they come into the town? We sometimes see one wandering up the side of a country road but have never spotted one in the town as yet. Are you feeding this one? Some do look awfully scrawny around here.

  4. a pretty little visitor. Isn't it funny how animals can sense time like that and will do things at a certain time every single day

  5. Our cats and the old dog always look out for the vixen passing through the garden at dusk. Yours looks young and healthy. I wonder if she has a litter of cubs nearby?

  8. the foxes are so bold now, I have one that comes into the garden during the day sometimes. Your posting on how you made your book does not seem to have appeared on your blog at least I cannot find it, thought I should let you know.

  10. Your fox is so handsome. How can people chase and kill them for 'fun'? The one which visited me, and the cub, too, haven't been seen again so don't know what happened to that family.I hope yours keeps visiting for a long time.
