BOOK COVERS and KNOCKY KNEE'S

Three more book covers.
I seem to have got the hang of making the back bits now and so am up and away.
I may put these on etsy sometime, we'll see.

All A6 size perfect for notes.

Linen fabric,  blue tatting, organza rose a bit of genuine antique lace and of course, lots of beads.

Tatted heart embellished with pearls and beads, satin background to heart, some antique lace and a bit of chain stitch

I think this is my favourite.  An 20's/30's lady surrounded by lace and beads, some silver leaves in each corner just finishes it off.

And to finish off, ruperts legs.  As you can see he is quite knocked knee'd.  It doesn't stop him from moving though..

  1. The lady looks so glam! Does Rupert have a muscular or bone problem...or is he just 'gawky'?

  6. Seriously, a cat can be knocked kneed? I am terribly knock kneed to the point were I simply cannot do certain things! I love the pink one, that may be my favorite!! But also the one with the val picture as well, it reminds me of a cameo!

  7. Is this his front or back legs? We had a cat who had knock knees in the back legs, come to think of it.

  9. If he was a horse he'd be "cow hocked"! My old boy got so gnarled that his front paws turned out to each side. My present cat has a very long body and tail but his legs are quite short; we ought to call him Ernie (Ernie Wise - short, fat, hairy legs!)
Book covers are lovely; tatting is an art I have never tried and you put it together s eautifully with the fabric.
