BLACKBERRIES FINISHED, BIT OF KNITTING, AND ANYONE KNOW WHAT'S ON TELE?

Here are the blackberries finished, I may add a little something to the stems as they look a bit plain.

This is hopefully going to be Old Man's Beard, probably better known to overseas bloggers as Wild Clematis.  You can just see a bit peeping out in the top picture. I thought this would go with the Autumn theme.

There was no hope of finding out what was on last night, someone had had a good time shredding the tv paper.

Here's the culprit, Rowan caught in the act.

Later to be found having a fight with the sausage. Not terribly good photos, sorry.

Also, I must say thankyou to all the people that take the time to comment, it really is appreciated and spurs me on.

  1. Your blackberries look amazing and the clematis will look just as good. Congratulations on your progress. Your cats are so mischievous - and being caught in the act, they can't pretend it wasn't them!
    Best wishes

  3. Your work is so beautiful. I am drawn in by all the lovely colour. Sierra would do the same thing. No paper or cardboard is safe in our home. Thanks for you good thoughts on Molly, and I will keep you posted as to her future. Deb

  9. Well maybe he was upset about what was on the TV, and decided you shouldn't even bother looking, he was actually saving your feelings listening to music is much better :) I do love those black berries the look good enough to eat! Maybe wrap the stems with more of that color, bullion knot like, if you know what I mean.

  10. Well, I see that Rowan has really been a rascal lately!!! So cute! I have only this summer identified the tiny wild clematis. I could hardly believe what it was, the regular plant has such huge flowers. The quilt is exquisite.

Rowan sure did a number on that paper. I guess he wasn't impressed with what they are showing on tv :)

He He Rowan, you are cute!

I don't buy tv mags, just use teletext or whatever it's called on my telly.

Waiting for the next instalment of your quilt eagerly!

  16. Fun to come across your blog from the comment you left on Sweet Briar Dreams. I attended a schoolroom like that too, in the late 1950s.:-)
