More Garden Goodies.

Today was Tuesday and so we made another visit to our charity shops.
Remember last week how I showed you the pallet garden? well today we found some more ingenious garden goodies.

The tin man, and he's large and made of buckets. He must have been about 12ft tall.

Going on holiday? Don't forget the cacti.
Another use for the old vintage suitcase, although I'm sure a lot of people would think it sacrilege to use it like this.

And finally, don't throw out that old large broken terracotta flower pot, just put another inside and add flowers.

Complete with mossy little steps.

  6. Dear Briony
All very imaginative ideas. I like the pot best and have just seen something very similar on Beechgrove Garden from last Friday (they were at the Scottish Gardening Show). That pot had a blue house, washing line and little steps as well. Very sweet!

(I find the tin man a little disturbing - probably due to the scale - or watching too many 1950s sci-fi films!)

  8. Giant bucket man is awesome!!!! And so is the baskets inside each other, a really good idea for broken pots. And something else that is so amazing is your orange quilt square with your kitty.

  12. My favorite is the re-purposing of the broken terra cotta pot.

  13. Fun reuse of items. It always amazes me the things people throw out here. Perfectly good and yet tossed in the garbage. There's always someone who wants or needs something. And there's always someone who is good at repurposing. :) Have a great day. Tammy
