SQUEEZED FOR THE LOVE OF CATS + NEW PATCHWORK HEART.

Just had to take a picture of Tom today squeezed up to the end of the sofa.

Here he is doing his Tapestry with Rupert on the back, Willow at his feet and Polly squeezed in beside the basket .
He was unable to sit in the window as the other 2 chairs were occupied. lol

Rowan in one and Princess in the other.  Non cat lovers would probably say, move them, only true cat lovers would understand this...

On the craft front, I have started another crazy embellished patchwork in the shape of a heart.
This is the part I don't like as the patches just look awful, I have to keep in mind that it will all come together in the end or I would throw this in the bin.

It begins to come together once the frame of card goes around.

And once a few beads etc start going on I get into the swing of things.
I'm going to add some black into this one, a bit gothic like for a change.

  1. the heart is beautiful as is the man on the edge of his seat. LOL i love the sunbeams and am wondering how he works on the edge like that. i love my dogs but i do make them move if they are where i want to be. they take up both sofas in front of the TV and since there is now where else to sit, they have to move... Jake moves when i point at him, Baby i have to push and pull and get my mad voice

  4. You're good people to let your cats rule the house. lol.. I just love seeing your husband patiently working at his hobby with the cats at his side keeping him company. That's a good life. I bet the cats does the same with you when you sit to work on your hobbies.

Your heart is already looking beautiful.

    Hugs,

I understand about living so near to the Sea, as I've lived on the NE coast all my life, it becomes a part of you,

I so love your work, it's beautiful, lovely soft gentle colours for your patchwork heart. What is Tom sewing ???

The picture of Tom on the edge of your sofa is brilliant.

  12. Ha-ha! I love this! I only have Jingles and yet she insists on squeezing next to me on the loveseat whenever I am trying to crochet and she sits right on the left side where my yarn ball usually is so I have to move it to the left which doesn't work as well. I have to make sure I keep the loveseat clean and tidy so that she has room to plop herself next to me. And even if there is stuff strewn, she will force herself into the spot. She has bitten me before when she wasn't happy that I kept trying to get her to move over. Ha! It's good you have a fellow the feels about cats the way you do. My husband isn't so understanding. :) Love your crazy quilt heart. I have a thing for hearts and quilting so the combination is beautiful. Lovely work as always. Have a good Saturday. Tammy

  15. Oh I love that shot with the cats. We know we are just allowed to stay here so we can feed ours - and open doors when they require!

  16. Ha ha ha! We only have the two cats and they are definitely top the the pecking order and we definitely have to choose the remaining chairs rather than choose the ones we want! Love your patch work heart - very pretty x
