HAPPY DAY,DEXTER RETURNS.

23 days ago my neighbour Kate's cat went missing, he was a timid, shy pussy who hardly went out, occasionally Kate would open the window for him to sit in the front garden when it was quiet.
On 20th March something must have either frightened him or another cat maybe chased him because he went missing.
Despite Kate posting loads of flyers and contacting all of the lost cats people it seemed that he was gone for ever.
However, Dexter's Dad called today to tell us that at 5a.m. this morning there was a scratching on the bedroom window and there he was.
All skin and bone, a sore swollen nose, sore paws but alive and well.
Where had he been?  we shall never know but we are all so glad that he has returned.

  1. I'm so happy for Dexter's parents. What a relieve for them. Dexter must have had some quite adventurous weeks. Hopefully he'll be fully recovered soon. I still often think of our cat Dottie who went missing 2 years ago and never came back home.

  5. Could have got locked in somewhere, a shed or garage perhaps, scratching to get out. Thank goodness he found his way back.

  8. I agree with Meanqueen. That would explain the sore feet and nose. Bless his heart.

  12. if only cats could talk. My friends cat turned up several miles from home. she thinks it was sleeping under her car bonnet and shot out when she went shopping.

  13. Poor darling! He must have wondered what the heck did I get myself into. It's a hard, cruel world out there for little kitties. Glad he made it back. Best wishes, Tammy
