    3. My Mum and Mum-in-law were both in their 80's when they died, both overweight and didn't walk much further than the shops, they wouldn't have dreamt of doing special exercises and ate pretty much what they wanted to. All of my 3 kids have gone to the gym and all three have joint pains etc, I'm convinced that repitition exercise like they have been doing are to blame. That's only my opinion though, I may be wrong.

  6. This is the best doctor in the world! Naps rule! And so does sitting on the couch all evening with the laptop and T.V.! Too much sweating makes us RUST!

  7. Obviously not a proper medical doctor, probably in psychology. Doctors have not worn white coats for years due to them being a huge infection source. White coat worn day in and out rarely washed, caused so many infections.

  8. If only I could nap...these days, sleep often eludes, unfortunately.

  9. good advice! I read recently that exercise is not always good for the elderly and does not help with losing weight. I am a cabbage potato and 70 next month and seem to be very healthy compared to my siblings who are all slim unlike me

    1. Hi Pat, trouble is sometimes the 'naps' go on for too long, it has been known for me to wake up and think it was the morning, ha ha.

  12. I enjoy a nap now and then - it recharges the batteries. I think moderation in everything is the key to a long and healthy life. x
