Wonder is he telling you what you want to hear?
So sick of every paper and media telling me I should be exercising its nice to get one that tells me I'm okay to nap. lol
Yes, I know what you mean I do believe in naps I need one every day, I do walk and try not to get the hart rate to high cause I am overweight too.
My Mum and Mum-in-law were both in their 80's when they died, both overweight and didn't walk much further than the shops, they wouldn't have dreamt of doing special exercises and ate pretty much what they wanted to. All of my 3 kids have gone to the gym and all three have joint pains etc, I'm convinced that repitition exercise like they have been doing are to blame. That's only my opinion though, I may be wrong.
I think it's a lot more complicated than that.
Sleep is gold so I tend to agree.

This is the best doctor in the world! Naps rule! And so does sitting on the couch all evening with the laptop and T.V.! Too much sweating makes us RUST!

Obviously not a proper medical doctor, probably in psychology. Doctors have not worn white coats for years due to them being a huge infection source. White coat worn day in and out rarely washed, caused so many infections.

good advice! I read recently that exercise is not always good for the elderly and does not help with losing weight. I am a cabbage potato and 70 next month and seem to be very healthy compared to my siblings who are all slim unlike me

Hi Pat, trouble is sometimes the 'naps' go on for too long, it has been known for me to wake up and think it was the morning, ha ha.

I enjoy a nap now and then - it recharges the batteries. I think moderation in everything is the key to a long and healthy life. x
