  2. Lol,I feed them aswell!.Although,I live in the Midlands,we get loads here and I love watching them circle the food i put out then swooping down and flying off with it in their beaks. It makes me wonder if they have some sort of nest around here cause they always seem to fly off in the same direction with it.And it isnt to the sea cause the nearest beach is about 85 miles away!!Debi,xx

  3. They are living creatures just like any other birds. I would feed any animal if it was hungry.

  4. I have no choice living by the sea. There is always a scout on a nearby roof, if I go out in the garden with my tub for the composter he shrieks and the others arrive.

  6. Wow!!! The whole roof is full of their awesome footprints. They make a beautiful pattern. Good for you, I am sure the kitties love them! We do not have any gulls around here, but plenty of Mourning doves. FANTASTIC photo!!!

  8. Gulls need to live like any other birds in spite of what Brighton Council say about seabirds. Your secret is safe with me Briony.

  9. So does Doug - there is one with no feet and a couple with only one leg. They all perch on the neighbours' roof. He feeds them dog sausage.

  16. I did laugh. My mother-in-law was in trouble in New Zealand for feeding birds.
