BUMBLE BEE + BO's HAIRCUT

Finally got around to doing another post
We've both been down in the glums for a couple of days, its not easy when Tom is short of breath and coughing, it affects us both but today is a good day and all is well.
I've managed to do a bit more to the dragonfly page.

A nice fat bumblebee has gone on the top, I've added a bit of fluff to make him look more bumbly and the wings were a bit of a problem but I finally made them out of silk ribbon.
I now have the outline of a beetle at the bottom ready to be filled in.

Meanwhile, little Bo has had his first haircut.
It was growing so fast and was in his eyes. His Mum said he was very good and didn't mind at all.

Butter wouldn't melt in his mouth, lol

  3. Sorry to hear Tom was suffering, it must be awful knowing there's not a lot you can do for him. Your sewing is exquisite, you have such talent and patience. Little Bo is just the most cute little thing ever - our doggies are such sweeties when they're puppies, aren't they?

  8. Has anyone such as pulmonary physio advised Tom about controlling breathing, and breathing exercises to expel the phlegm? Really helps. The bee is superb, well done.

  11. You are truly an artist with that needle, Briony. May I ask how you made the wings with ribbon? (just generally, as I can't figure it out from the photo)

Bo is just so sweet, it doesn't seem possible he is a real live dog! His haircut is very nice; I wonder if they do people as well? (in the market for a new hair stylist myself - lol)

I remember when my father was alive, he had COPD and a lot of phlegm and coughed a lot. It was hard on him and hard to hear him suffer. I'm glad you had a good day today.
