WISH I WAS THERE

My Grandson Tom and his girlfriend are in Japan on holiday.
They have just sent me this photo of Kitty outside of the 'Cat Cafe'.
How I would love to be there. sigh...

Meanwhile I shall have to make do with my motley crew.

No hope of banging out a tune now then, the piano has been taken over by Polly, lol

  1. There is a cat cafe in Newport if you are anywhere near.

  2. You have your own cat cafe! Who needs to travel?!

  3. What a good photo of Polly--her black and white pattern is very distinctive. Our cats don't seem interested in my piano in this house--at the farmhouse it had a rather prominent spot in the living room. I had to keep it closed and a runner on top.

  4. Wow. I'd visit there too. Meanwhile Lukas enjoys watching me drink tea.

  5. I wouldn't call your "crew" motley, they are gorgeous.

  6. Perhaps all we bloggers with cats can take turns visiting each other - it would be sort of the same thing as a cat cafe, wouldn't it? :) Your cats are gorgeous; they clearly get superior care!

  8. Oh Briony, Polly is absolutely positively gorgeous!!! I sometimes wonder what's wrong with me but I've never had a desire to travel, let alone go outside my country. The thought of going someplace "foreign" scares me to near-death. So the thought of going to Japan gives me the shivers. It must be genetic or something, this fear I have. Love, Andrea xoxo

  9. Polly is so pretty and your own cat cafe is always a pleasure for me to visit. How wonderful to travel and see other places. I doubt that I will ever have the opportunity to go very far from home

  10. My husband does business with one of the oldest paper companies in Japan and we've been invited many times to go there. Definitely will get there one day, some how, some way. A friend and her husband were there a few months ago and were caught in the rain. They were right near a cat cafe so popped in to wait out the weather. :)
