STILL HERE

Hello everyone, I'm still here but very lazy about posting for the last month.  Life gets in the way some times and we are up and down with coping.
Tom gets shorter of breath as time goes by and sometimes is can be difficult to come to terms with what is happening.
My joints pains are escalating and on contacting the Dr I got no joy only told to try Pilates, Meditation and Codeine, so nothing I didn't know there.
But we rally around and have a pow wow and get back on our horses and get on, lol

Anyway, enough of illness, there's enough doom and gloom with the virus news bombarding us on tv, newspapers, radio etc  and we can't seem to get away from it can we?

A crochet Jack Russell  that was being made is now in the BIN.
It just didn't look right when I tried to fit him together and I can't waste time so he was chucked. lol

This is the new project, a cushion full of cats, what can be better to lift the spirits.

I have plans to pimp up these little cats with a bit of fluffy wool maybe.

Just look at all those gorgeous colours and there's more where they came from.
I must have enough wool in my boxes to make 100 cushions, lol
The pattern is on Ravelry if you are interested and is perfect for using odds and ends.

As the squares tend to curl I am blocking them on a cork board as I go, seems to be working fine.
Just about to make some cats, will post when they are done.

Also I''d like to thank all of those people who contacted me to see if we were okay, thanks so much, its nice to know that  bloggers are concerned and care.

  6. Good to see you post. I've not been consistent with my blog lately either. I've seen that cute cat cushion on IG. Might have to give it a go one of these days. I was on a crafting spree but have slowed down since Jingles hasn't been doing well. Sending good vibes and well wishes your way. Take care.

  12. Your cat cushion is just adorable! It is the coolest I have EVER seen! Each cat is different, too. Wish I could do something like this. I am so sorry you are both feeling unwell; me too! And having to stay in, we just have more time to think about it.

  13. Nice to see you have been keeping busy. Cat people should stick to cats! Let the doggers look after themselves. Has Tom been weaving any more tapestries?

  16. I love the cats with their tails curling down. I can picture them with the fluff too.

I find the virus news seems to have taken over everywhere and it's hard to get a break. So I appreciate anything on a different topic. The world is still spinning and we have to make the most of every day.
