TAPESTRY FINISHED, ON TO THE CROCHET

Tom has finally finished the 'Liberty Store' tapestry.
Tom Grandson bought this for him a couple of years ago and laughingly said that when it was finished he would have it back (cheeky)
He will have forgotten this and so we plan to make it into a cushion and give it back to him for his 30th Birthday.
I know that he will be thrilled with it knowing that his Granddad
 has made it for him.

And so now he needs another project.

So, concentration is high in the work room in the corner by the window where Tom is getting back to grips with crochet.
He has done crochet before  and enjoyed it but has got rusty.
Notice the colour co ordination with the jumper, lol
The yarn has been ordered and when he makes a start I'll show what he will be making.

I think the cushion idea for your grandson's birthday present is excellent. Something he will treasure for many years.

  11. The tapestry looks wonderful and what a great gift that will make for your grandson. I don't crochet often and every time I pick up the hooks I have to look up how to do the different stitches.

Crocheting, eh? I've been suggesting to my husband that he might like to learn to knit. We are running out of puzzles to do!
