MANY CATS FINISHED AT LAST

Many cats finished at last.
This has been a long project and took a lot longer than I thought it would but it's finally finished.
Not sure yet if it will be a cushion cover or a wall hanging.

  1. That is fabulous Briony!. Very original!! Did you use a pattern or is it freeform?. As a cushion cover it will certainly be eye-catching but will get worn over time of course. Personally I think a wall hanging will continue to catch the eye, will be admired and last longer :-) I particularly like the fluffy cats!! keep well Amanda x

  2. It's lovely! no wonder it took a while theres a lot of detail, each one of those cats has it's own personality, I think it will make a lovely cushion cover. I'm glad you liked my mosaic blanket over on my blog and hope that you get into the technique I find it quite addictive so be warned haha. Have a lovely Sunday.xx

  3. I vote for a wall hanging...the fluffy bits would get squashed if sat on! It is beautiful.

  6. Looks great and so much work. We'll have to send our links to some other crazy cat projects (patchwork) to join it, but we vote wall-hanging ('twould be a pity to get it all squashed and sat on).

  7. It really is beautiful and I had no idea that you could crochet that many different colors and types of cats. It will be beautiful as a wall hanging or as a cushion either one is perfect

  9. OH my gosh, it is AMAZING!! I enlarged it, and looked at each and every cat. Each one so different. You have outdone yourself. If I saw this in a store, I would buy it. Using it as a cushion may get it worn or shabby. You need to preserve it. Maybe frame and hang it.

  11. I love that. It is so quirky. It would look good as either a hanging or a cushion cover but I would probably opt for the wall hanging - would last longer that way in my house!

  21. It turned out super cute. I made only one square that I turned into a little pillow for a friend. Didn't have enough stuffing to put into it, unfortunately, but it is what it is. I will probably try to make some more in the future. Take care.
