If you remember, we have new neighbours next door. They have been in now for a couple of months and are really lovely people, phew, thank goodness..
I approached them about the seagulls and explained that I put out a small amount of food for them each day and asked if they were okay with that,
the reason being that the gulls feed on the wall that surrounds their garden.
They said that they didn't mind at all, in fact the lady was also putting a few bits on the window ledge for them.
Luckily we do not have large window sills like next door, when we had a renovation they were replaced with tiny one's.
But as you can see the original large one's are perfect for a seagull to perch on.
Now, we all know that seagulls are very, very clever birds and when this one spies the owner in his office (I found out that he is an Author) https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/215041.Stuart_Blackburn he duly stands on the sill and beats out a tattoo on the window until the owner opens up and puts out a few bits.
I'm not sure how he puts up with this as it would drive me crazy but I have asked a couple of times if he would like me to stop feeding them and he assures me its okay.
