CARTOON ME.


One of the blogs I follow is this one http://beefgravy.blogspot.co.uk/, you can do not worse than to go over and take a look, there's always something of interest and I love it.
A while ago YP aka Yorkshire Pudding the name he goes by decided to draw a cartoon football scene and include some of his followers in the crowd .


Here's the part with me included, lol
I now have this as my wallpaper on the pc and every time I enter the room it causes me to have a little inside giggle.  He has captured me perfectly don't you think? 

Today I had a light bulb moment for the next page of my fabric journal.


I've cropped the picture and I'm going to outline it on fabric with embroidery silks and mount it in the journal.
If the journal survives my demise I am captured for ever, lol.



This must be the photo that he took it from, notice he has the ring and the earrings just about right.

    This is so COOL! He is very talented. Well, I DO think you are prettier than the drawing, though. It is so good to see your photo! And I cannot wait to see the journal page of yourself!!

    That's pretty good, not many can draw a charicature (sorry about the spelling) that actually looks like the person!

    Thank you for this "shout out" Briony. I am so happy that you like your cartoon. I added a few more characters to the crowd on Wednesday and quite soon I will be able to start colouring in the scene. It will take bloody ages!

    That's an excellent idea! I love it when one person's art (your photo) inspires another person's art (YP's drawing) which then inspires you again (your fabric journal)! It's like a game of tennis!
