HOW ON EARTH DID THAT GET THERE !

I made mashed potato for dinner this evening, it was lovely.
As we were sitting there after the meal, Tom started laughing and asked me what the time was.
On looking at my watch I was surprised to see a big blob of mash.

How on earth did that get there?
I must be such a sloppy cook, lol
This is quite genuine and a first.  I've had dinner down my front and on the floor but never on the wrist watch, lol

The hospital visit went well today and the consultant was lovely.
More scans and tests are to be had and although there is no cure we felt quite positive when we came out.

We're not going to let it get to us as none of us know when the end is and we shall make the most of and enjoy the future.
As you can see, he's in good spirits.
He says thankyou to you all for your kind thoughts.

  8. He looks very good, and the consultant must work wonders. So when will all the tests begin? Yes, NONE of us knows how much time we have. No one knows the hour except God. Well, I have finally gotten an apron after over 40 years! But of course in this situation my apron would not help. Plus, I have already splattered it up. Maybe I should just cook naked, then shower?

  9. Tom does look in good spirits and I must say I like his original fashion sense! He is a lucky man to have you by his side at this anxious time.

    1. The fashion sense is down to the Grandson who showed him how to arrange the scarf he bought him for Christmas. Tom was apparently doing it all wrong, lol
The baseball cap came out when I ploughed the furrow through his hair, not sure if you read the post, and he has been wearing it ever since.

  10. How funny! I too can get dinner down my front which can be quite embarrassing sometimes if we are eating out.
Your husband looks in good spirits. So pleased things in the positive. Perhaps the splodge of spud is a good omen.

  13. I'm glad he is keeping his spirits up. That is half the battle. If you get down and only think of the negatives, then you give up. Best wishes to Tom feeling much better.
