Tom went down to theatre last night and all is well.
We were all in a state as it was explained that with his complications he might not make it through the op.
He asked the kids to look after me if he didn't make it and we were pacing all evening waiting for the call.
Finally got the call at 10p.m. to say that all was well and have spoken to him this morning.
Phew....
I asked him not to do this again and he has agreed that he will try his best. LOL
Thankyou so much all of you for your support.
Phew. Great news.x

ReplyDeleteAll the best to you all. x
ReplyDeleteBriony, I so admire your ability to keep your chin up, and to find ways to take pleasure in your stitchery, in the advantages of a stair lift, the loving companionship of your cats (well, and Bob, too). It seems that so many people right now are battling against any number of difficulties and it is helpful to me to read your writing, take a deep breath, and think "oh, right, life is hard for most of us, but the love and beauty is still there for all of us who pay attention."
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your struggles and insights with people you don't even know--but we kind of know each other--and I send you all my best wishes for the future.
