PEACE IN THE WORK ROOM.

All is peaceful in the work room.
We've changed to the large back room, painted the floor with floor paints and bought a nice rug for the centre and now we can both sit together working on our different projects.
Tom has almost finished his tapestry and I have almost finished the shisha page.

  1. Nice big windows there, plenty of natural light coming in. Go Tom.

    1. This is why we changed rooms Ilona, there is one wall of windows and its upstairs at the back of the house, nice and peaceful. Didn't make for a very good photo though.

  5. That sounds very companionable! I like Tom's pink shirt and yellow socks combo. That light floor really brightens up the room, doesn't it?

  6. What a lovely work room Briony and Tom looks very busy with his tapestry. Its lovely when you both have interest in craft work.I do wish my Hubby would have a hobby, but because he has limited use in his hands and feet he only seems to want to watch the telly!Never mind though, cause we are back down your neck of the woods next week and once weve picked up the hired disabled scooter we can go for miles along the seafront and I can collect bits of drift wood,a few shells and the odd bit of fishermans rope that washes up to put in my pretend beach in my garden...along with a load of discarded seagull feathers!!,Best wishes to you and Tom,xx

    1. I always said that if one of us has to have a wheel chair the other one could get one of those stand on things the kids have attached to the prams to hitch a lift, lol
Hope the weather is kind to you when you come this way.

    2. I hope the weather is good as well!Last time we came a few months ago,it rained all day on one of our days there!.I would still go out in it,walk through it with my hood up!,But Hubby flatly refuses. So I went out for a couple of hours and raided the charity shops!xx

  9. What a lovely light-filled room. I like the way you have the monitor up high - I will have to look at that myself to give more room on my desk.
