CRASHED OUT RUPERT AND ANOTHER ROW ON THE SAMPLER

Still hot here with no rain in sight.  The cats are all flopped around and Rupert has decided that the ironing board in the work room is the coolest place.

Please ignore the old lady with 2 pairs of glasses on in the mirror, she doesn't belong to me. lol

I fancied a few bunches of grapes.

A couple more rows and another page for the fabric journal will be finished.

Where all the action is...

  1. Absolutely gorgeous! So fine and delicate. Cats do pick the strangest places to sleep...

  3. The photo of Rupert made me smile. Our cat does that too although less so at the moment as he has found an large empty pot in the garden which he has claimed as his bed!
    Best wishes

  4. We finally got some rain yesterday but it wasn't really enough. We could use a whole lot more.
Your work area is so neat and organized. I love the way those grapes look.

  5. Those grapes look luscious, and Rupert's tummy is making me want to risk receiving a 'bunny kicking'.

  7. when I got to the photo of where the action is, I had to laugh... I see two pairs of glasses laying on the table, so do you still have 2 on your face and 2 on the table? or did you take them off and take the photo blind. still giggling.. I love the 'cat on the ironing board' and that could be a new Doc Seus book title. your page is beautiful. you are so very talented

  9. I love those beaded grapes and their vine! Lovely. And also your pincushion. I like seeing other peoples' pincushions. :)

Rupert has the right idea. Find a spot where no one can get too close and sprawl out.

    1. Fancy you noticing the pin cushion Jenny. I made that years ago, its like tapestry but worked with embroidery silks. There were three different patterns and I'm so annoyed I that I can't find them. I'd love to make another one.

  11. Lovely sampler, very pretty. Our furries are all hiding under bushes or flaked out on the cool tiles, although we do have a little breeze to help xcx

  13. That desk! It's like the NASA control centre in Houston - but for fabric craft - not space travel.
