Princess is doing well and thankyou for all of you who have been asking.
The swelling on the foot has gone down to normal and the wound is healing.
I on the other hand am in the wars.
Over the weekend I suffered from toothache from a large molar that has been giving me little niggles for a while.
I made an emergency appointment today and it will have to come out.
He gave me some antibiotics and asked if I was allergic to them. As it is literally years since I took any I answered no.
It's 2 o'clock in the morning as I type this post and I am covered in a really itchy rash that is driving me mad.
I'm guessing that it is the antibiotics that have done it and I'm so glad that I have only taken two of the things.
I've done a google on it and apparently it will disappear as quickly as it arrived, lets hope its correct.
What a time to have a rash..when the weather is so hot!
I'm so sorry for your loss of molar and the antibiotic-induced rash. You are lucky it is minor but I'de let the doc know, just the same. I hope all heals quickly and thanks for the update on Princess.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased that Princess is doing well. They are very resilient. Sorry about your tooth and the reaction to the antibiotics. Hope you can get the tooth out quickly and that the reaction subsides.

ReplyDeleteOh no! From one medical issue to another. Sorry to hear about your tooth. And the rash. Our bodies change so much over the years. Hard to know what we might be allergic to at any point in time. Hope it's cleared up and the extraction goes smoothly. Take care!
ReplyDeleteIm am so pleased that Princess is healing!Great news...but sorry to hear about your toothache.I dont know if its connected...but my Dad was given antibiotics and after sitting in the sun for a few hours,in the garden.he came out in a really bad rash and his hands and arms got swollen.May be the sun can cause this?Best to mention it to the dentist when you go today.Hope all goes well.xx

That happened to me once, I told the doctor I wasn't allergic to something because another doctor told me that I couldn't be allergic to pennicilin if I didn't react to something he gave me. So I started saying I wasn't allergic to anything. Wrong I was still allergic to pennicilin

ReplyDeleteYikes, sorry about the rash and tooth problems. Do you have Benedryl over there. They always tell me to take it for a reaction/itching.
