It was banned for TV because of the link to Greenpeace, which is seen as a political organisation; and therefore forbidden Ginny, makes you wonder what's next doesn't it?
It's a shame it was banned; it's an effective and poignant ad that could reach many people and help make a difference. And lord knows, we need help fixing what we've done.
Mean Queen...Ilona..put this on aswell. And it made me stop and think because I didnt realise that this was happening to the poor animals. When I looked in my cupboards,I was amazed at what contained palm oil.Even lemon curd and cracker biscuits, chocolate and butter type spreads..the list goes on..xx
I saw this advert too and have made a conscious effort to check labels to try and avoid buying unsustainable palm oil, although it is really difficult because it is incredible how many products contain it - food, toiletries, etc. Good for Iceland for bringing this situation forward and getting people talking about it. Best wishes Ellie
This is amazingly awesome, sad, and perfectly done. I did not know this either. WHY was it banned?
