ANOTHER PAGE ON THE WAY.

I recently found this embroidery half finished in amongst some of my odds and ends and thought I'd tart it up and use it as another page in the fabric journal

Can't even remember when I made this, must be some years back but its too nice to throw in the bin.
I've added a few beads to the tree and am going to add a few more flowers, probably do something with the sky and water and another page is born.

Look who decided that the open desk drawer was the place to nestle down.
Now, every time I open the drawer she's in there pronto, especially if Mum puts the angle lamp over the top for a little warmth.

  9. OH, it is gorgeous!! I love it!!!! If you ever make more and want to sell, I will buy one. I love weeping willows, and you have really captured their beauty. Trust a cat to find the most comfy spot in the house. Must be all that comfy fabric. And now he has his own sewing spot right beside you!

  13. Looking forward to seeing how you change this picture - your work is so beautifully neat and your ideas so artistic.

Smiling at the cat! They choose the weirdest spots to hunker down sometimes.

  14. "Tart it up"? That's so Brighton! Surely you mean "embellish it", "beautify it" or "develop it further". After all you are not going to apply lip gloss and sparkly mascara to it.
