I rang the head office of Argos and was informed that I could take the kettle back and get a refund and so that is what I did, not problems.
Thanks for your input.
On a completely different topic, I must share with you my experience with Marmite.
I have to admit that I often suffer from the glums. I didn't used to but as I've got older and possibly with Tom not being well I have seemed to be suffering more than usual.
Recently I've taken to having a couple of slices of toast with (dare I say it, Butter ) and a generous amount of Marmite each morning.
Suddenly I've realised that I have been a lot more chirpier lately and it dawned on me that Marmite has a lot of B vits in it.
On looking this up on dear old Google I find that I'm not kidding myself but that it is actually a fact that a teaspoon of this wonder stuff can actually make a difference to our brains and help the glums and other brain connected things.
So I shall continue with this for my breakfast and hope that the good work its doing will continue.
On the needlework front, I have completed the willow tree and just have to mount it onto a new page for the journal
And the cat is coming along nicely.
Got the ears done and couched the gold for the flowers, just got to decide what to fill the flowers in with.
The little holes in the nose will have diamontes in there but I will leave that until the end.
I really have no idea what I'm doing next it just comes to me after a bit of cogitating. lol
I'm sure the experts would say that you should draft out what colours etc you are going to use but that's not me.
Looks like its going to be a very cold wet weekend here.
Have a nice one where ever you are.
