We have a new cat in the neighbourhood.
A very large ginger and white one who is scared of nothing.
Sitting quietly on the pc the other day I heard a commotion and cat screams out in the back garden.
One way to get moving quickly, even if your joints are screaming is to know that one of your cats is in trouble. lol
I hobbled out as quickly as I could to find Princess in full battle on next doors shed roof.
Who would have thought it. I might have said Rupert would have had a go but not Princess.
She was in full sail with a huge tail and a large ridge along her back.
This B cat is persistent and I can see we are going to have trouble keeping it away.
Oh well, it's one way to get me moving, lol
She's a feisty little thing.

She's a lovely cat, I do like the white bib under her chin. Think the males have the brawn and strength but the females once angered are very tenacious.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Willy Wombat
We have a male black and white cat comes in our garden and he had set about our cats a few times, twice mine have needed a visit to the vets afterwards. Our Millie is quite old and not much meat on her bones now to take it. Molly once had a very nasty abcess from a cat bite which needed weekly trips to the vets for a couple of months and cost a fortune, the vet said that cat bites are very nasty because they have all this horrible bacteria in their mouth, so Yes, you do move rather quickly if you hear cat screams. I hope she is ok.
ReplyDeleteThose gingers should go back where they came from. When Brexit is complete the gingers will be expelled. After all, none of them earn anything like £25,000 a year.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to know Princess can step into it if she needs to -- but hopefully she won't need to!
ReplyDeletebeautiful and sweet and can kick butt. nothing better. I do hate that you have a cat that will cause fighting, hope it moves on somewhere else. when our dogs fight with any critter I nearly have a fit
ReplyDeleteWell done Princess!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh no - having a new cat push in on your cats' territory is not good. Hopefully the ginger will get the message and stay away.
ReplyDeletePrincess has a sweet face - what nice colouring!
I probably should have said "markings" not colouring - are black and white colours? lol
DeleteWell it sounds as though Princess is not going to allow it on the property!
ReplyDeleteShe's a beautiful girl and feisty too.
ReplyDeleteOh no, that's not good news. Our cat has been on the receiving end of a nasty one that ventured on his patch.
ReplyDeleteShe's a beauty and hopefully he got the message.
The vets here urge people to keep cats indoors in order to avoid this. Glad Princess is okay.
ReplyDeleteWe had a stray male show up about a week ago. Of course, that meant fighting. I have 2 outside neutered male cats. But, they don't act neutered. They are territorial.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend we put out 2 live traps to catch a possum that has been coming to the porch. We transport them to the farm and set them loose. We caught the cat instead.
I told my husband we were getting him fixed. We always spay and neuter and then release. They can choose to stay or leave.
Anyway, we had put to him in a holding place. Our gazebo. Yesterday when we went in to catch him, he bit thru the glove my husband was wearing and tore his knuckle up pretty bad.
He should be an altered male today. Ready for pickup this afternoon. I will keep him caged for a week, then open the door for him to get out. $70 dollars, but worth no more babies.
Fighting cats, not a pretty sight. I have to keep a look out in case Mickey from up the road is hanging about around the back door. Oscar does not like him. I have a bottle with a trigger which can squirt a long way if set to 'stream'. Mickey does not hang around if I give him a blast of water.
ReplyDeleteI have a glass of water at the ready but he's crafty and doesn't come close enough, I may have to invest in a water pistol.lol
DeleteLove the mandala's Ilona.

ReplyDeleteAww !!! Such a lovely cat. Just love the shade of her eyes and those gleaming look. The white hair under her chin is just amazing reminds me of bib.heee hope none of your cats are injured in battle . Sometimes the sounds these cats make just like infants is get our response to them, I go crazy …..
ReplyDeleteWhat a suitable name for your cat! She does look like a princess! Cats can be very territorial. The other day, while I was on my way to home I saw some kittens following their mother. It was such a cute sight. The mother cat looked very protective, so I just slicked some photos and went on my way.
