Stripping the bed and putting on new bedclothes is always a bunfight. Rupert is the worst and will jump on the covers while you are fighting with the duvet cover.
Today I managed to get as far as the bottom sheet and the pillow covers and that was that.
I ended up covering the duvet and new pillows with a fleece to at least keep them clean for a bit and look what happens.
Rupert and Princess have decided that they like a nice clean sheet.
No chance of finishing this any time soon especially when the fan is creating a nice draught above them, lol
The Bijou garden is beginning to bloom with the roses looking lovely even if the wind is doing its utmost to destroy them.
I've taken some of them in and put them in a vase to keep them going for longer but there are plenty more to come.
Miss Polly in the shade on the bench and Blue Angel clematis just about everywhere.
I have two new hollyhocks this year and if you look carefully you can see the first pale pink bloom to the left of the hanging cage.
I planted two different species and am puzzled why one is delicious to snails and the other one isn't.
The one underneath the cage has had a battle against the snails but is rallying round but much shorter at the moment than the other.
Any ideas as to why this should be.
The sun is out and I think the seafront calls later.
Have a lovely weekend where ever you are.
