Hi Sooze, yes I did make him. the pattern is online somewhere but I think its the various colours that I used to make his fur that makes him look so realistic. It's a free pattern.
I think there are about 97 rows in all but doubt I shall do them all, we'll see. It should be done in thicker yarn on a bigger hook but mine will be smaller just me an exercise for fun not as a blanket.
I make things purely for my own amusement Addy. It would just add tension if I thought I was making it to sell. They usually go in the cupboard unless I hang them on the wall.
The fact that you and Tom have only had twenty rows in your married life shows what a tolerant fellow he must be. What was Row 20 about anyway? I bet it was because he wanted to watch "Love Island".
Go go go! It's good for your brain and also exercise for your hands
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Briony. I keep meaning to ask, did you make the little Yorkie in your header picture?

DeleteOh lor. I really must put my glasses on to look at photos- I've always thought that was a very realistic ceramic dog on your window sill

DeleteLooks like a lot of work, but it's turning out lovely. It's very dense (is that the word? I mean "not lacy/holey", like usual crochet)
ReplyDeleteIt looks great.
