CROCHET CORNER BOOK MARK

Browsing through Pinterest the other day I noticed a pattern for a crochet corner bookmark, so I thought I'd give it a go.

I used the recommended yarn and hook and it was fun and quick to make but I'm not that impressed with it.

I think it's a bit bulky, although you are able to close the book okay.  My opinion would be that it would be better made in a thinner yarn.

If you fancy making one there are various designs on Pinterest and they don't take much yarn.

  1. They are beautiful works of art. They could be Gothic or Victorian.

  5. I think that I would be to crocheting what Boris Johnson is to diplomacy. A disaster.

  7. My littlest granddaughter made me a corner bookmark made out of origami paper. I love it. Yours is so pretty but I can see where you might think it bulky. ~Andrea xoxo

  8. I keep meaning to make a tatted version. Good point about using fine thread.

  9. F likes the crochet lace. Strangely we were looking for paper puppet ideas earlier this week and found little page corners with interesting embellishments (faces etc stuck on or painted) - you could possibly stitch them with your skills. Purrings to my fellow felines. Mr T
