Blinds up, windows open, back door open and the sun streaming in.
Makes you feel so much brighter.
A good tourism slogan for your seaside city would be, "It's always bright in Brighton!" though some wags might replace the word "bright" with an alternative word that rhymes with it!
It makes ME feel brighter just seeing that, Briony. What a wonderfully lit and cheery place to be! ~Andrea xoxo
sunshine always makes me happy
That is beautiful! Nothing like sunlight streaming in to lift your spirits! Unfortunately, we aren't going to be getting much in the next few days!
It's lovely to see some sunshine. I keep having to switch the electric lights on here as it looks as though it's going to pour down but it hasn't so far, and then the sun comes out again.
It's a wonderful change, isn't it?!
That looks so cosy and attractive - and you are right about the effects of sunshine on mood. (altho having said that it might be possible to get too much of a good thing when we get summer here in Greece.) Give us temperate sunshine any day.
It's not been that good here but I know just what you mean. The first rays of sun on my winter sun starved body is always very welcome.
Oh YES! I love this big wondow! We have a big one in the living room, but not as nice as this. The first thing I do when I get up is open the drapes!
I like nothing more than having the air flow through the house.
Nothing like an open window and the sun shining.
A bit of sunshine makes everything better.
Yes it was a lovely sunshiny day yesterday until the heavens suddenly opened while I was on my afternoon dog walk! I discovered 2 things quite quickly...my coat isn't at all waterproof, and nor are my shoes! I could wring my gloves out and the dog was soaked through...he had a warm shower when we got back as he was due for a bath anyway!
A little sunshine makes everything feel so much better:)
