GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT + MY OPINIONS

I just want to get it out there that I do not want to discuss religion, politics or anything to do with the current situation.

I have my own opinions on these things but I want my blog to be a happy place.

That said, here is the next stage of the daisies.

I've started the ferny leaves and it's taking ages but will be worth it.

I'm anxious to get the daisies finished as I have another design to start.
You can see by the above that I am no artist but as long as I know what I mean it's okay isn't it?
I intend to have drop pearls on this one.

  2. Artist with pencil? Well its all about interpretation - but you are definitely an artist with a needle. We love your blackberries by the way.

  3. Oh, I think you are indeed an "artist", Briony. A very talented one, to say the least!! I'm not sure why you made the comment about religion and politics and all of that, as I'm not seeing anything on your blog here about that stuff but.... I'm glad you set the 'ground rules' as you wish them. This is YOUR spot on the internet and you make the rules. :-) ~Andrea xoxo

  8. Love all that you do! I agree that there should be no politics, religion or negative things. I read Blogs for the happiness they give me when I see the beautiful things people make and I love all the animals! We need positive things and no negatives especially with all the Covid lock downs. I enjoy what you and hubby do and love your babies!!

  9. Your needlework is artistry at its best!
Entirely too many people arguing belligerently [Face Book!] re politics, religion and anything else they can find to be contentious about.
Like you, I have strong beliefs, but I don't find it necessary to argue with folks I'll never meet in person.
Better to be content with my cats, books and sewing, while waiting for gardening weather.
