On a Wednesday our son Matt comes to see us and we have a natter and catch up.
Today he bought goodies.
He was passing a large store where he lives and noticed that they were selling sweets at a ridiculous price, of course he went in a bought some for himself and some for us.
Lindor mint chocs, 10p a bag, large box of choc banana's £1.00 and choc caramels.
We think that maybe the loose chocs were what they filled up the pick and mix with and of course at the moment they are probably not allowed to do pick and mix.
There's enough to keep us going for ages, lol
Here are the daisies finished, now for the leaves.
I've used my Promarkers to add the pink around the edge, it makes them stand out quite nicely.
The daisies are beautiful! How thoughtful of Matt!!
ReplyDeleteYour son Matt is a sweetheart . . . how thoughtful :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a steal! No cat treats then?

ReplyDeleteChocolate is always a good idea. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteOur son is Matt too! Unfortunately he lives four hours away.I could just eat some chocolate.
ReplyDeleteThose chocolates look yummy. Love anything minty. I love the blackberries and the Daisies.
ReplyDeleteThe daisies are beautiful and life like.
ReplyDeleteYum! What a great gift! Sadly, I have not seen any bargain-priced chocolates around here!
ReplyDeleteThat was nice of Matt. Does he live in Brighton too?
ReplyDeleteMatt lives just along the coast in Worthing, about 20 minutes away. One son in Ayr Scotland and a daughter just along the coast in Lancing. All three come up trumps when needed.
DeleteDoes "to come up trumps" mean to wind up an angry mob urge them to storm the seat of government?
Deletethose daisies are lovely. Great treat from your son too !
ReplyDeleteI love those daisy's and the pink around the edges really makes them pop! What a great idea! Chocolates look good, too I bought a little bit for my grandsons for Valentine's Day. It was hard to resist buying some for myself though!
