Rupert has the best spot in the house.
What a wonderful thing to do for them!!
Our cats hate fans, we have a secluded shady spot which they love outside, or in the shade on the cool slate. Inside we have wooden floors which they both love.
Our cat was scared stiff of the Fan and would sit at quite a distance from it but keeping a very wary eye open just in case the whizzing monster would attack him. Rupert is obviously quite a bit wiser. Amanda x
It's so hot over in Greece I saw one of the bloggers has ice pack and she put a towel around it and the cat sleeps on top of the towel if it gets too hot maybe you could try that. He looks like he's really happy with that fan
Does he like to be brushed? I used to brush my cat in the summer to help her shed some of that fuzzy undercoat -- and she seemed to enjoy it, though it's sometimes hard to tell with cats.
Ye Steve, he loves to be combed and rolls on his side for it, trouble is he always rolls on the same side and I have to get crafty to get to the other side, lol
Rupert, obviously, loves the fan. Clever boy.
We also wet down our tiles in a couple places inside, our sidewalk, and shady areas for our kitties! Rupert, poor thing, has such thick fur.
Wow, his fur and whiskers are really blowing back! He is such a handsome fellow, Briony.
Rupert you are braver than me. (F says 'more sensible). The fan is ok, on low, at a distance, but it dries ones eyeballs. I prefer vacuum cleaning - it suckz the air through your fur and removes loose fur while it's at it. Stay cool Mr T
He looks very content. My dog used to hate the fan and would run away from it. I've no idea why.
I love the look on his face! He's really relaxed with the breeze blowing his furs around.
Must be awful to have a fur coat on in this heat. My cats hide under the hedges in the garden.
