Remember these two little one's, Black Faced Valais' they belong to my son in Scotland.
Well they've grown big enough to be sheared for the first time.
Just look at them now, big and strong.
And here's some fleece that's going to be winging it's way down South to me.
I have a drop spindle and am going to get a couple of carders.
Then I will wash it and have a go at making myself some yarn.
Meanwhile two new big boys have arrived.
Pete hopes to breed these beautiful sheep next year.

They are adorable. How nice of your son to send you the wool! And doesn't he look like Tom!

ReplyDeleteI did not think those beautiful and strange sheep were real! I thought you were showing off some stuffed animals you had - WOW - incredible what God has wrought with those sheep! Amazing and so incredible looking!
ReplyDeleteThose sheep are so flipping cute. I tried my hand at spinning and dyeing sheep fleece and it was great fun. I may have to dig out my kit and have another go.
