BEST CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE IN TOWN

Yesterday Tom wasn't up for going out, we got to the door and he couldn't get any further and so we spent the day indoors.

I'm currently looking into hiring a light weight wheel chair so that we can go a little further.

Today he felt a bit better and made it out to the car and down to our sanctuary 'The Sunshine Cafe'.

Here he is, a little thinner after the last fiasco but still able to enjoy a coffee and sandwich.

How's this for a slice of fudge cake, it has crunchy bits on the bottom and is the best fudge cake I have tasted.

Another peek at the arty stuff.
A little corner of hand made items for sale.

I recently treated myself to these earrings from the corner , so unusual and pretty.

  1. Adorable yet sophisticated earrings. I'm a sucker for hound's tooth checks. I am glad your hubby felt good enough to go out. A lightweight wheelchair is a good idea if he is willing! Eat a piece of that fudge cake for me!!! WOW! Yummy!

  4. I love the earrings. Yes, Tom does look quite a bit thinner than I had remembered. We have one of these lightweight wheelchairs. It is called a transport chair. I does not have the big wheel handles that you wheel yourself with...in other words, it cannot be wheeled by the person sitting in it. They have to be pushed by someone. This makes it very light. We keep ours in the back of the car trunk.
