THINGS ARE BETTER.

Glad to say that things have improved here thank goodness.

We have managed to get Tom into the car and out on a couple of occasions and he feels better for it.

Taking each day as it comes and making the most of it is the answer, find something that you enjoy doing and relax.   We both like out jigsaws and reading and my crochet is a boon in taking my thoughts away from any negativity that may creep in.

I'm still working my way through the various sized squares for my latest throw.

Below are what I have already made.

I am making the 2 medium blue one's at the moment.
Have made the 3 small blue.

So that will leave me with just 9 small squares to make.
It's been a long haul but it really is lovely and I know I won't want to use it when it's finished in case it gets covered in cat hair. lol

Thought this was funny.
Penny (daughter) comes in once a week for a good hoover through.
Look at her hair, caught in the draught from the hoover, lol

  10. *haha* Tell Penny she is just what the doctor ordered today, to lift my spirits!! :-D And I'm glad things are going better on your homestead, Briony. Taking one day at a time... it's all I can ever do too. Getting out is so good for the soul & body, isn't it. Hubby and I were geared up for a motorcycle ride today but alas, it's beginning to rain and the forecast doesn't look clear until next Tuesday. Who knows how the actual weather will be by then anyway. I've got to pick myself up by my bootstraps and put on some good cheer. It's hard sometimes, isn't it? ~Andrea xoxoxo

  12. I'm so happy to hear that things are better. Getting out for a bit can do a lot to lift the spirits.

  13. I agree with ADDY. Penny looks like a rock star playing her instrument. Perhaps the number is taken from one of her bestselling albums: "Bad Penny", "A Penny for Your Thoughts" or "Spend a Penny". By the way that throw is going to be brilliant when it is done - so psychedelic. It would look good on the cover of Penny's next LP: "In For a Penny In For a Pound".

  14. It must be such a relief to have a few good days after what you've been going through, both of you. "Make the most of every moment" - yes!

What beautiful light in that room where your daughter is vacuuming. And beauty in your blanket.

I don't know how you keep your place so clean with five cats. I only have two and it seems the cat hair is never under control!

  15. I'm pleased things are a bit better, just getting out of the house makes all the difference. Your throw is going to be lovely, I always find it tricky joining them together when there is more than one sized square. Have a lovely Sunday. x
