I have no helpful answer, but I find I cannot comment on blogs if I'm using my phone, whereas I can when using my laptop. I have no idea why! How are you doing, Briony? xx
Sorry. I can't help you Briony. There has been a lot of funny stuff in Blogger with regard to comments over the last few months. For example, I regularly get some of my own historical comments sent to the spam folder. There's no logic to it.
I get your blog without a problem. But I did notice once that when I try to comment from my iPhone, it goes under anonymous. If I use the laptop, it goes under Rian.
I find this sometimes works if I open a blog and can't comment: I leave that tab open but click on another tab that's already open, then go back to the tab with the blog I want to comment on. For some reason it then allows me to comment.
We hope you are findinv meaningful ways to fill your days and all your feline friends are well. We went through that comment thing a couple of months back Briony. It was only SOME Blogger blogs. I assumed they had changed some settings which made us log in to comment, but it came right again in about 3 days. We are still having the spam oddity that YP describes.. xxx Mr T and F
Does the problem happen only on certain blogs or all Blogger blogs? In the past, commenters have said they have trouble with blogs with embedded comments -- or those with comment and responses immediately beneath. That's why my comments are all in a single list. In any case, I hope you get it worked out!

ReplyDeleteI suppose it depends whose blog you want to comment on. I have turned comments off from my blog as I am no longer blogging. Thinking of you. x
ReplyDeleteI get the same when using my phone, sorry I don't have any solutions, I do all my commenting from my computer.
ReplyDeleteBlogger is weird. It also sends stuff to the spam folder for no obvious reason
ReplyDeleteblogger will repair itself, many are having comment problems, hang on, THEY will fix it. nothing for us to do.
ReplyDeleteThis usually happens to me whenever my phone updates. I have to go into my privacy settings and turn off Smart anti-tracking. X

ReplyDeleteNo clue what the problem could be. It seems like every now and then there's a glitch in the system that makes things difficult.
